Volunteer Opportunities

The British Columbia Schizophrenia Society is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to helping families cope with serious mental illness. For over 20 years our dedicated volunteers have assisted us in providing support to families, educating communities about mental illness, raising funds to increase awareness and promote research into the causes of schizophrenia, and advocating for improved services for people with mental illness.

We’re always looking for dedicated volunteers to help deliver education programs, increase awareness and raise funds. Some opportunities include:

  • special events and initiatives
  • office admin support
  • data entry
  • desktop design
  • education and research projects
